Two go to Austria and end up with Flying Dragons |

| We were on an ordinary coach tour to Austria with excelsior coach holidays. The scenery was fantastic, Chris & I could not get over the amount of bikes & bikers we saw every day nor could we get over the amount of signs outside cafes, hotels, guest houses and restaurants saying BIKERS WELCOME. Weather it was a small village or large town every where we went was bikes & biker friendly. Even the road signs telling motorists to give bikes a chance. |  |

| We stayed in a village called Tarrenze about 4 miles from Imst at the hotel Lamm. Chris was talking to the owner Ralf and he said told us that he owned an HD that won best in show at daytona last year. Having swapped hog mags and chatted some more, Ralf told us that a rally was going to be held that weekend in the next village and he could take us on the Friday for a couple of hours if we would like to go? Of course we could not resist. The rally was held in the middle of a forest surrounded by mountains, run by the local HD chapter called the Flying Dreagons, of which there are only 13 members. | |||

The couple a hours went to quick, although we were asked if we would like to stay for the night, we were leaving at 7am the next morning for the return journey home. Next year apparently there is supposed to be a Buell event organised by H.D. Switzerland in the Imst area. This involves riding hired Buells on organised ride outs over the mountain passes | ||
